Prof. Dr. Sema Kalaycioglu Born in Ankara in 1952, Sema Kalaycioglu received BA iUniversity (1973); MA in Economics at University of Iowa, department of economics; PhD in Economics at Istanbul University (1982). She became a full professor in 1992. At Yildiz Technical University (1982-2003), served as the director of the department of Banking, the graduate dean, and the chairperson of the economics department. At Isik University, established the department of economics and the “Political Economy of the Middle East” MA program, and served as the director and the chairperson. At Dogus University worked as the faculty dean.
