Dr. Shay Hershkovitz brings over 25 years of experience as a highly skilled executive leader in the B2B Strategy and Research Industry Space. He has a proven track record of founding and managing operations, overseeing P&L, and driving product innovation and strategy for both startups and growth organizations. Dr. Hershkovitz excels at identifying new markets and technologies, strategically positioning data-driven organizations, and driving growth through operational and technological improvements.


With his expertise in designing quantitative and qualitative research, synthesizing insights, delivering senior-level client services to commercial and public sectors, Dr. Hershkovitz has worked with a diverse range of organizations. These include the US, UK, and Israeli governments, NASA, NATO, large financial institutions, the big four consulting firms, fortune 500 companies, and startups.


Dr. Hershkovitz is a recognized domain expert in national security, climate change, and emerging technologies. He is a thought leader who serves as a trusted expert through public speaking, executive presentations, and numerous publications. He has authored a book titled "AMAN Comes to Light: Israeli Military Intelligence in the 1950s" and authored dozens of academic articles. His recent book, published in 2022, is titled "The Future of National Intelligence: How Emerging Technologies Reshape Intelligence Communities." He also writes for U.S. media outlets such as Wired, TechCrunch, and TheHill.com and speaks to a variety of audiences.


Dr. Hershkovitz is a distinguished mentor and a professor who has been recognized in yearly reviews by faculty and students. He has created a suite of courses at Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, and other academic institutions to help students succeed in their careers. Currently, he is a Professor of Practice at Virginia Tech's Center for Environmental Security and a Senior Research Fellow at The Intelligence Methodology Research Center (IMRC). He is also an advisory board member at the International Studies Association (ISA).
