OMID HONARI’s two decades of business leadership has established him as an acknowledged expert in the field of International Education where has served as the regional head of the most renowned companies across the EMEA regions.

Omid’s expertise draws across sectors and industries with noted experience in business leadership, global education and the media. He is a sought-after speaker at conferences and seminars on topics ranging from future directions of business, education, people, culture and the economy.

He is the recipient of the Forbes Middle East’s Education Award for Excellence (2019), Education 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award (2022), TechKogo’s Technology for Good Award (2022), and the Award for Outstanding Contributions to Higher Education – UAE (2023).

He holds undergraduate, graduate and professional doctorate degrees in Communications, International Leadership & Media Production. In the arts, he is Executive Producer of Dubai’s foremost Shakespearean theatre company, Cross Bronx Studios (@crossbronxcrew), where he has produced, amongst others, the sold-out shows Macbeth (2022), Romeo & Juliet (2024), Hamlet (2025) and Jekyll & Hyde (2025).

He is an active Member of the Abrahamic Business Circle, was elected to serve on Executive Board of the Australian Business Council, Dubai (2023-25), and is a Knight of the Order of Parte Guelfa (https://www.parteguelfa.it/), the arch-confraternity founded in Florence in 1266 AD dedicated to defending and the presentation of our natural habitat and the environment.
