Marwan Alblooshi is an Emirati PhD researcher at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. His thesis examines the relationship between changes in Emirati foreign policy and the regional order, as well as national identity.

Alblooshi previously worked in policymakers' circles in the UAE, assisting the government in the development and implementation of several national agendas.
