About
Mohammed Sharif Alghusain is the Managing Partner of Alghussein Global Strategies, an international consulting firm with offices in Washington, Montreal, and Gaza, specializing in reconstruction, governance reform, and strategic planning. With more than nine years of experience, he has advised governments, international organizations, and leading institutions on post-conflict recovery, sustainable development, and institutional strengthening across the Middle East and North America.
He was the youngest elected member of the Palestinian Businessmen Association - Gaza Board, receiving the highest number of votes in the association’s history, and later served as Head of the International Relations Committee within the Contractors Union, where he advanced cross-border partnerships and private-sector engagement. Beyond the private sector, he contributed to public service and community development as a Board Member of the Gaza Diabetic Center.
Prior to the war, Alghusain founded and led one of Gaza’s most successful construction companies, employing more than sixty professionals and delivering major infrastructure and development projects. He also established the first Palestinian business accelerator in Gaza, supporting emerging entrepreneurs and connecting local innovation with regional and international markets.
In parallel, he played a central role in improving Gaza’s reconstruction mechanisms, advocating for greater efficiency, transparency, and accountability in rebuilding processes. Alghusain holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Degree in Architecture From Canada , grounding his leadership in both strategic management and technical design.
Fluent in multiple languages and experienced in cross-cultural negotiation, he continues to work at the intersection of policy, implementation, and peacebuilding , championing resilient institutions, inclusive growth, and long-term stability.
