About
Vanessa Kacherginsky is the CEO of the Israeli Forum for Impact Economy, which she founded in 2020. The IFIE serves as Israel’s National Partner within the global GSG IMPACT network, working to connect, accelerate, and strengthen the Israeli impact ecosystem.
It aims to build an impact economy that delivers social, environmental, and economic value alongside sustainable growth. Vanessa specializes in creating cross-sector and international partnerships, developing ecosystems, and managing and executing complex, system-level projects on both national and international scales.
She focuses on designing and implementing innovative financial mechanisms that maximize the risk-return-impact triangle through various blended finance approaches. This includes combining philanthropic or public capital with private investment, using guarantees, risk layers, and incentives to channel funds into markets and populations where traditional capital struggles to reach.
She holds a BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies and an MA in East Asian Studies specializing in China from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is also a graduate of the impact investing and Innovative finance executive education programs at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.
Vanessa is fluent in Hebrew, French, and English, and has an intermediate level of proficiency in Chinese.
