About
Lee is a passionate advocate for the intersection of climate action and innovation, with a personal mission to promote resilience in global food systems. She is actively involved in advancing food security, fostering regional and global collaborations, and championing innovation as a tool for sustainable solutions.
In her recent roles, Lee has worked with global companies, leading NGOs, and high-level government officials worldwide. She has developed tailored strategies to help these organizations identify and implement innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with their goals. Most recently, as VP of Sustainability & Policy at Aleph Farms, an Israeli company pioneering cultivated beef steaks, Lee led the development and execution of a comprehensive sustainability strategy, initiated and implemented the Net Zero Carbon Commitment and spearheaded global initiatives and policies with the UN, FAO, and others global initiatives. Previously, Lee established and directed The Builders R&D Innovation and led Coca-Cola’s Israeli External Technology Acquisition (ETA) hub. She also served as a Scientific Advisor for the Energy and Clean-tech sector at the Israel Innovation Authority, where she played a key role in scaling Israeli innovation to address climate change.
Lee holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Ben Gurion University, a B.Sc. in Food Technology from the Hebrew University, and an MBA specializing in Strategy and International Management.
