Dr. Ghazi Ben Ahmed is an international geostrategy advisor and former European Commission official with deep expertise in trade negotiations, regulatory strategy, and global economic governance. He designed and launched the African Development Bank’s inaugural $1 billion Trade Finance Program, strengthening access to capital across emerging markets. He is the Founder of the Mediterranean Development Initiative, a Tunis- and Brussels-based think tank focused on strategic development, regional integration, and economic transformation across the Mediterranean and MENA region. He now advises governments, sovereign actors, and multinational firms on geopolitical risk, cross-border expansion, and strategic capital deployment.
